passed into glory.
Dolores was born on August 4th, 1934 in Santiago de Cuba to
Nicholas and Esperanza Vian. Dolores, along with her husband
and other family members, were able to take refuge in the United
States in 1962.
Upon graduation from college in Cuba, Dolores worked as a
primary school teacher. After coming to the United States, she
worked for many years as a bank teller. She loved baseball, a
strong cup of Cuban coffee, lively conversations about politics,
and sharing stories of her native Cuba over a glass of wine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two
sisters. She is survived by her two daughters, Isabel and Barbara.
Also by her four beloved grandchildren: Raul, Christopher,
Rebekah and Sarah. And by her five beloved great grandchildren:
Isabella, Cayden, Ava Marie, Christina, and Caleb.
We dearly miss our 'Abby', but we rest in the hope of being united
in heaven. We find comfort knowing that she is in her heavenly
home "present with the Lord".
