She was born in Hoschton, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas Andrew and Lula Belle Elliott Freeman.
Mrs. Irvin retired from A.L. Williams Insurance Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Tucker.
Her husband, Jerry B. Irvin preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Ann Long of Loganville, and Nancy Simonton of LaGrange; her sons, Sonny Irvin of Sparta, and Tom Irvin of Sacremento, CA; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain. The family will receive friends on Thurs. from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
