Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Avis Ivan Kelley; her father, Leopold Tanner; her mother, Annie Stevens Kelley; brothers, Armin Tanner, Fredrick Tanner. Eleanor is survived by her son, Ivan W. Kelley of West Hempstead, NY; sister, Mary Ann Tanner of Tucker, GA; nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Eleanor was a homemaker, a bookkeeper for her husband's business, and a devoted caregiver to her sister. She was a lifelong member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Atlanta. She volunteered for the American Red Cross at the VA Hospital in Decatur and Doctor's Hospital in Tucker over the years. She enjoyed traveling and loved vacationing on the Gulf Coast. she was big sports fan, cheering on the Braves, Falcons, and Georgia Bulldogs.
