

Frances H. Ingram, 74, of Tucker, GA passed away July 14, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Robbinsville, NC to the late Cecil and Beulah Hooper. She graduated from Robbinsville High School, married her high school sweetheart, Walter J. Ingram and together enjoyed 55 wonderful years of marriage. She retired from Dekalb Co. School system where she was an active member of DESA, serving one year as president. She was a member of Embry Hills United Methodist Church for 40 years and an active member of the Atlanta Northlake Elk's Auxiliary for 35 years, also serving one year as president. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother, who loved her family, the beach, and the Georgia Bulldogs. She is survived by her husband, daughter Francie (Tommy) Disco, of Acworth, GA granddaughters Melanie Disco of Rossville, GA, Katie (Will) Gaddy of Dallas, GA, sister Judy (Vic) Rackley of Raleigh, NC, and brother Don (Brucie) Hooper of Greensboro, GA and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Tucker, GA on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 pm with visitation at 1:00. Reception to follow at the Atlanta Northlake Elks Lodge, 1775 Montreal Rd, Tucker, GA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Atlanta Northlake Elk's Auxiliary.
