Geraldine W Bullock

She had a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Mrs. Bullock is survived by her children, Charles B. Bullock (Lisa) of Lilburn, GA and Mark T. Bullock (Lon) of Atlanta, GA. She had five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Bullock of Atlanta; her daughter, Larissa “Rissa” Ivory Bullock of California; her three brothers, Weyman, Neal, and Jerry of Atlanta.

Mrs. Bullock was born on August 18, 1933 in Atlanta, GA to parents James E. Wheeler and Bonnie Belle Hunt. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Atlanta, GA and attended Georgia State where she studied clothing design. She was a long-time executive assistant to the principal of one of the largest convenience stores in the nation. She and her husband Charles started investing in real estate in the 1950s when they bought their first duplex, purchasing numerous investment properties over the years throughout Georgia. In the 1980s, they formed a local property management company together that was eventually incorporated and run by the family.

Mrs. Bullock was a wonderful wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother who loved her family with all her heart. Geraldine was passionate about life, the outdoors, and traveling, and was an avid tennis player. She and Charles loved Lake Lanier, a place that became a big part of her and her family’s life, and one that still holds many memories for her family and friends. She attended Briarlake Baptist Church regularly and was very involved until she was unable to attend due to her illness. She will always be remembered by her beautiful, bright smile and her wonderful soul.

A private funeral and reception is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association in Geraldine’s memory.
