He worked for Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Clipson was a member of the Clarkston United Methodist Church.
He was a Cub Scout leader, Little League Baseball, football, and a softball coach
He made All State in football, served as President of the PTA, and President of School Council.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patricia Clipson.
He is survived by his children, Adam Clipson, Stan Clipson, Cindy Fry, and Laura Carnes; his brother, Frank Clipson; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services on June 2, 2012 at 2 pm with The Rev. S. Ellen Hopkins and The Rev. Dr. Larry Amos officiating.
Interment in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain
