Jack served in the United States National Guard and retired as captain. He served 20 years. He met his wonderful bride of 60 Years in 1954. He was a very loving husband and a devoted father.
He enjoyed reading, collecting coins, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Jack was a very important member of Pleasantdale Church of God and made numerous mission trips to different countries.
Jack is survived by his wife, Jeanette Gibson; daughter, Debbie Gibson; son Randy Gibson; brothers, Jim and Joe Gibson; cousins and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his parents Sanford and Nanny Gibson, a brother, Doug and two sisters, Louise and Margaret Gibson.
Funeral services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3 at 3:00 PM with Michael Walker officiating, visitation will be held 1 hour prior.
