Mrs. Maddox retired as a sales representative for Sears after many years of service.
She was a member of Shiloh Christian Church. Other memberships include, the Red Hat Ladies and the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Maddox, Sr. and her son, Robert Eugene Maddox, Jr.
Survivors include her daughters, Julie (Jerry) Belk of Snellville, Cathy (Bill) Hurst of Lawrenceville, and Robin Smith of Snellville; her grandchildren, Mike Martin, Jennifer Belk, Jamie Smith and Kimberly Hurst; her great grandchild, Beckett Martin.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Shiloh Christian Church, Snellville.
A private family inurnment was held in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker.
