Dr. Tabatabai graduated from the University of Tehran School of Medicine, Class of 1951. He dedicated his life to the field of medicine, the well-being of his family, and the service of God. Dr. Jafar Tabatabai passed away on September 14, 2023.

Jafar married Mahin Dokht before immigrating to the United States in the 1950s, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. This union produced six children who were the center of his world.

In his adopted homeland, Dr. Tabatabai practiced medicine in the Stone Mountain area for an impressive 40 years. His dedication to his patients, his community, and his profession was unwavering. He was known not only for his medical expertise but also for his compassion and commitment to providing the highest quality care.

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Dr. Tabatabai's love, faith, and wisdom had a profound impact on his family. He is survived by his five children, Nelu, Laddan, Yasy, Susan, and Ali, who continue to carry forward his legacy of love, compassion, and resilience. Additionally, he is survived by ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren who were a source of joy and pride for him.
