James Stipe Cash

He was born in Lavonia, GA the son of the late Willard W. and Minnie Stipe Cash.

He was a retired salesman for Reynolds Metals.

Mr. Cash was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of the Tucker First United Methodist Church and the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ellen Brown Cash of Snellville; his daughter and son-in-law, Jamie and Marcus Jones of Lawrenceville; his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mike and Connie Cash of Griffin; his five grandchildren, Leanne Cash, Daniel Cash, David Jones, Allen Jones, and Philip Jones, his five great grandchildren, Claire Jones, Meredith Jones, Addison Jones, Ethan Cash, and Elliana Cash.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010 at 3 p.m. at the Tucker First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jimmy Moor officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1-3 on Tuesday at the church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Tucker First United Methodist Church or Brightmoor Hospice, Griffin.
