He was born in Cullman, Alabama the son of the late Frank and Alida Schmitt Clos.
Mr. Clos worked for US Steel in Industrial Relations.
He was a Marine Corp veteran and a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Meyer Clos.
Survivors include his daughters, Beth Ray, Ella Raney, Jeanne Clos, Susan Whiten, Martha Shelton, and Catherine Newton; his sons, Rene Clos, Denis Clos, Robert Clos, and John Clos; his sister, Mary Terese Daniels; his brother, C.J. Clos; sixteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A funeral mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation from 10:00 am until service time.
