She was born in Union City, Tennessee. The daughter of Liz Fields Brandon and Carlie B. Brandon. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, son Eric and her husband of 58 years, John M. Thomas. She was educated in Nashville, TN. Mrs.Thomas was retired from Nestle and moved to McDonough in 1993. She previously lived in Atlanta for over 30 years. Mrs. Thomas became a Christian at age 11 in Nashville, TN and was a member of the McDonough Church of Christ. She was an avid reader and enjoyed needlepoint, bridge and canasta.
She is survived by one son Mark Alan Sr., four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Services will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on November 11, 2023 at 1:00 pm. There will be no visitation.
