He was born in Shenandoah, PA the son of the late Richard and Grace Grego Hassan.
He worked for the Federal Reserve Bank and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Hassan was also a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy DuPre Hassan.
Survivors include his children, Carolyn (Stephen) Rappold of Bogart, Jennifer (Jeff) Waindle of Jefferson, GA, and Richard (Debbie) Hassan of Marietta; his sisters, Sadie Litsch, Jeannie Maxium, Mary Richards, and Millie Krupilus all of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Shannon, Jessica, Crystal, Samantha, Amanda, Josh and Stephen; his great grandchildren, Tyler, Kaden, Hunter, Eli, Trustin, Raelin, Adaline, and Caden.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Tuesday Sept. 19 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Assumption. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Please visit our online tribute at www.floralhillsfuneral.com
