On Saturday, January 10, 2015, Katherine Wheeler, age 88 of Tucker, GA, beloved wife of the late L.D. Wheeler, passed away. Loving mother of Gary Rakestraw, the late Ronald Rakestraw (Nikki), Gail Fraker (Ken), and Richard Wheeler. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Laurie Carter, Michael Rakestraw, Kenny Rakestraw, Ryan Rakestraw, Angie Brabson, and the late Kim Rakestraw, her sister, Sadie Carl, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 12-2 p.m., Floral Hills Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084, where funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with Rev. Terry Little officiating. Burial will follow funeral service in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
