Kimberly J. Hicks was born on March 26, 1961, and left this world on October 21, 2025, at the age of 64. Kimberly made an impact on thousands of people throughout her life. There are so many children that got to experience the joy she brought to the world with her work at Vanderlyn Elementary (Dekalb County School System) in the cafeteria and after school program. She gave so much love taking care of children and bringing life to each person she met.
She is the best mom in the world and made such a commitment to raising her son, Jeffery Hicks. She filled the role of both parents, worked multiple jobs to make ends meet, and though she was tired she still was able to put a smile on people's faces.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26TH, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker, Georgia, a Funeral Service will be held on October 27th, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Floral Hills Funeral Home in Tucker Ga.
