Collegium Vocale concerts are sung November and March in the Glenn Memorial Auditorium on the Emory Atlanta campus.

Co-vid days, Kevin leads masked rehearsals in Glenn Auditorium.
For years after rehearsals, we joined Guy Maishman and any who wanted to come to eat and talk at Meltons App and Tap.  (especially regulars Sylvia C., David B., Robin & Jeff)

Fall & spring, Kevin Hibbard, professor of music at West Georgia U.,  drives weekly from Carrollton to Atlanta.
Tenors were needed so Bob moved up from the baritone section.

Bob was like a second father to me.  I recall with great fondness the games of chess we played in the kitchen (and the many times he let me take back a blundered piece!), with a bit of pontificating and philosophizing thrown in for good measure.  Good times and great memories!  We are much diminished to have to let so great a soul pass on from this world.

"O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills..."

A giant among men!  I took a few pages from his book...  I consider myself lucky to have had him as a part of my life.  He will be missed.  Fly on!

Lane & family we are sorry for the loss of Bob. Our sincerest sympathy to all.
 We will always remember Bob from the NTO choir days. His knowledge of music and pretty well staying on pitch, was his great assets. He would let you know if you missed a note or off pitch but with a scorn look & smile. We shared many good times and will miss my singing buddy.

I met Bob and Lane at church several years ago. They  have always been a pleasant, caring and positive couple. I know they loved to sing in the choir.  I have  loved Bobs’ sense of humor, taste for deserts and smart mind. Bob will be missed!

Bob was a brilliant man, and I’m so happy I got to sing with him in Collegium Vocale and enjoy his stories at Melton’s after rehearsals. He will be sorely missed.
