Lemmie L. Noggle, 95, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2011, in Atlanta. Lemmie was born on January 8, 1916 in Sugar Hill, GA. She was known for her gentle smile and warm greeting to everyone: “There’s my baby.” Mrs. Noggle was an excellent cook, most notably for her half moon pies and coconut cake. She was an exceptional gardener who loved gospel music and reading her bible. She was a true caregiver to her family and a second mother to all of her grandchildren. Lemmie was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Richard Hugh Noggle. Survivors include her daughters Patricia Yvonne Bevel of Tucker and Nancy Noggle of Tucker, son Barry Noggle and wife Julie of Dunwoody, grandchildren Brendan Noggle and wife Meghan, Yvonne Noggle and Madeline Furr and great grandchildren Hunter Furr and Drew Noggle. Visitation will be on Monday, July 18, 2011, from 6-9 pm at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in the Floral Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
