Lenwood Collis Scott Jr.

Mr. Scott is survived by his wife Beverly Murphy-Scott of Atlanta, GA., two sons Lenwood C. Scott III (Kayla) of North Augusta, SC and Brandon H. Scott of Aiken, SC. Mr. Scott also leaves three grandchildren, Alexis, Courtney and Gene to cherish his memory.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Lenwood C. Scott and Alberta H. Scott, both of Aiken, SC.

Mr. Scott was born on September 13, 1944 in Windsor, SC. He was a native of Aiken, SC where he graduated from Martha Schofield High School and went on to attend North Carolina A & T University in Greensboro, NC.

Mr. Scott was a loving husband, father and grandfather, as well as a loving member of his family and to his friends.

Mr. Scott enjoyed traveling, jazz music and life itself. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, loving and carefree person.

A memorial for Mr. Lenwood C. Scott Jr. will be held on January 5, 2022 at 1 p.m. at G.L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, 390 Beaufort St. NE, Aiken, SC. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Mr. Lenwood C. Scott Jr.

The family would like to thank all who called, offered prayers, condolensces and love during this time.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the American Heart Association in Mr. Scott’s name.
