Lewis Charlton Brown, Jr. passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born in Ft. Benning, GA on October 20, 1958. Lewis lived in Georgia most of his life except for the several years in Germany when his father was stationed there. He earned a Bachelor of Theology degree and continued his Bible studies until his passing. He worked in the real estate industry for many years and retired at the age of 60. His favorite hobby was cooking, and he loved trying out new recipes. But his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandchildren. He ministered to the homeless and helped out when he saw a need.
Lewis is survived by his son, Lewis Brown, III and his wife, Jenny, and their children, Isabel and Charlton. He is also survived by his best friend, Ellece O’Hara Brown, his mother, Elsie Sacre and his sister, Desma Holbrooks.
Memorial Services will be held at Peachtree Christian Church, 1580 Peachtree St, NE, Atlanta, GA 30309 on February 16, 2025, at 2:00pm.
