She was born in Atlanta, the daughter of the late William Ralph and Dollie White Gunter.
She worked many years for Fresenius Medical.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Brooks.
Survivors include her children, Rev. Larry Woodall, Randy Woodall, Connie Mick and Amanda Irle; her brother, Rev. Olin E. Gunter; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Woodall officiating. Inurnment in Melwood Cemetery at a later date.
