Linda Anne Correnty

Linda Anne Correnty, 64, of Tucker, Georgia, died peacefully in her sleep on December 4, 2014. She graduated from Sandy Springs High School in 1968. She then attended Georgia State University, and later graduated from the University of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Donald Correnty and Claire McCadden Correnty. Her survivors are her sisters Susan Down (Bryan), Nancy Kenerly (Bob), and Karen Terry (John). She is also survived by her children, Delia Boales Donaldson and Nolan Boales (Alicia), along with her eight grandchildren, Brian Dodd, Hannah Dodd, Elizabeth Ringger, Stephen Gilreath, Lauren Gilreath, Jackson Gilreath, Britton Ringger, and Claire Boales. Linda passionately worked for the Georgia Department of Labor touching people’s lives daily until retiring in 2012. She also had a exceptional sense of humor, an outstanding love for animals and an amazing creative talent. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, family and friends she treasured. A memorial service will be held January 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Floral Hills Funeral Home located at 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Georgia, 30084. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be sent in her honor to the Atlanta Area Rescue Friends (www.aarfatlanta.org).
