Lutheria "Cebe" Gunter

Cebe grew up in south Georgia, the oldest of 4 siblings. She always said that she helped raise her brothers and sister. She graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia, with a degree in Education. She earned her Master’s and Specialist in Education degrees from Georgia State University. Cebe taught school in Dekalb County, Georgia, for 40 years. She loved children and always talked about her students.

Cebe is survived by her husband of 61 years, Edward Gunter, sons Roy (Laurie) Gunter and Mark Gunter, sister Betty Rahn, and grandchildren, Melissa Gunter, Rebecca Gunter, Sarah Gunter, Jason Durgan, Chris Durgan, Brittney Gunter, Nathan Gunter, and Tiffany Gunter. She was preceded in death by her brothers Roy Robertson and Alonzo Robertson.
