Marcia Ann Martin

It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Marcia Ann Martin, who left this world on January 15, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on July 28, 1947, Marcia was the beloved daughter of Charles and Mary Martin, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Carole Martin, and Susan Martin Anderson.

Marcia was a remarkable individual, known for her vibrant spirit and passion for life. She built a successful career as a computer programmer, contributing her skills to prestigious companies including Citicorp and Crawford. The last 25 years of her career was spent at GSOC as a training coordinator. True to her nature, Marcia approached her work with the same enthusiasm she exhibited in all areas of her life.

Her larger-than-life personality drew people in, and she never met a stranger. Marcia was generous to a fault and had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. She had an insatiable thirst for knowledge and adventure, finding joy in reading, traveling, and indulging in her love for shopping.

Marcia found unending joy and companionship in her beloved cats. Her playful nature and affection for her furry friends will live on in the memories and hearts of all those who knew her.

At this time, no formal service will be held. In honor of Marcia’s memory, we kindly request that donations be made to a local animal rescue shelter or the Wounded Warrior Project as all who knew her knew she loved our military men and women and America, or make a donation to your favorite charity in her memory.

Marcia, you leave behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and love. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
