Marjorie “Marge” Ann Kelley Narey, age 96, of Lilburn, GA, died Monday, August 9, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Reverend Mr. Richard “Dick” Daniel Narey; her son, Michael Richard Narey; and her-daughter-in-law, Linda Narey. Family members include her 6 children and their spouses: David Narey, Sue and John Peterson, Tim and Cathy Narey, Barbara and Mark Roumillat, Kris and Vince Michels, and Dan and Angela Narey, eighteen grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Marge was born in Portland, OR, in 1925, and graduated from the University of Portland, in 1947, with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. After a brief career in nursing, she became a devoted wife, loving mother, and long-term care giver to her parents. Her life centered on God and loving and caring for her family. She had a passion for reading, playing cards, and being in the company of friends. She will be remembered for her generosity and kindness, her sweet disposition, and her prayerful concern for others.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at noon, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation precedes the Mass at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marge’s name to St. Vincent de Paul, Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3175 Hathaway Ct, Atlanta, GA 30341.
