He was born in Gadsden, AL the son of the late Albert and Francis Decker Brown.
Mr. Brown was a service manager for Goodyear Tire retiring after 33 yrs.
He loved fishing, racing, playing guitar and singing. Mr. Brown loved his family and friends. Loved by many, will be missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" Brown.
Survivors include his Daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie & James Watkins of Atlanta, Tracy & Dale Roberts of Lawrenceville; his son and daughter-in-law, David & Kelli Brown of Jefferson, GA; his sister, Loretta Raffield of Fitzgerald, GA; his brother, Billy Ray Brown of Doraville; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry R. Hewatt officiating. Interment will follow in the North Atlanta Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wed. from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
