Nancy was a wonderful mother and always made time for her children. From Scouts, to sports to musical lessons, she was always there supporting them when they were younger. This continued into their adulthood as they had children of their own. She would always say that she was happiest when she had all her chicks with her.

It didn't stop with family, Nancy was a cherished friend as well. From childhood friendships she kept until the end, to new friends she made recently, she was always welcoming and loving to those who came across her. Her smile could light up a room, and her friends loved her for that, as well as her kindness.

She had a great sense of humor, and was beautiful inside and out. She will truly be missed.

My dear, sweet, smart, sassy and true southern lady Nancy will be missed by so many people who loved her. I have so many great memories of our friendship. She was a true friend for life to me and my family and we all loved her as if she were family. Although we are sad to lose her, we have to be happy that all her pain and suffering is gone. May it comfort all of us who loved her to remember that when this earthly life is past, a new whole life starts in eternity. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

Love,
Shelley

I know you are no longer in pain and can walk and talk again, and that alone makes me glad. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING MY MOMMA!!! I love you dearly and always will! You will be sorely missed!!!
