Paul Dean Towler of Tucker, Ga. went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, Jan. 19, 2025. He was the only child of Ted and Annette Towler. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on Sept. 19, 1939. Before his first birthday his parents moved back to Richmond, KY where his mother's large family lived. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilmath Harris Towler, numerous cousins, brother-in-law Clellon (Joyce) Harris of Bremen, Ga. and two nephews and a niece. Paul graduated from Model High School, Richmond, KY. in 1957 and to fulfill his military duty he joined the Army Reserves and then went to Eastern Kentucky University. He graduated in 1962 with a degree in Accounting. Most of his career was in private industry , but he retired from Dekalb County School System. He was a member of the Snellville Church of Christ and a former member of the Northlake (Decatur) Church of Christ. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor. He had many interests and hobbies, one of which was collecting Peanuts cartoon memorabilia. A Visitation will be held for Paul, Monday, January 27th at 11AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a Private Family Graveside Service.
