Paulette Kitchens Phillips

Paulette Goen Kitchens Phillips, 73, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born on January 28, 1952, in Griffin, Georgia, to the late Doris English Goen and Hamil Goen.

Paulette was married to Johnny D. Kitchens for 35 years, and later to Jonathan O. Phillips for the last 16 years. She was the beloved mother of John and Jason (Marci) Kitchens and cherished grandmother of Ella Rose, Amelia, Everett, and Porter Kitchens. She was a sister to Barron (Barry), Yvonne, and Jeffery Goen (deceased). Additionally, she was a mother, grandmother, sister and so much more to the Phillips as well.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family and friends and her dear Lord Jesus, with Whom we believe she now rests. She was active in church fellowship and served in various ways over the years. She was charming and gracious. She could often be found thrifting, crafting, decorating, and singing while considering others for whom she was usually preparing a sweet and thoughtful gift.

A memorial will be held for family and friends to celebrate and remember Paulette’s life. This will take place on Monday, August 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084.
