Peter James Bradfield

Peter James Bradfield, age 62, died on October 6, 2026, in Decatur, Georgia.

He is survived by his sisters, Michele Jean Knight (Dennis (dec)) and Christine Anne Bradfield (Bachir Boukli); brothers, Patrick Anthony Bradfield (Tokey) and John Dennis Bradfield; nieces and nephews, Katie Knight Powell (Charles), Nicole Knight, Sonja Bradfield (David Belian), Brandy Judkins, Paul Bradfield, Sam Boukli (Austin) and Zachary Boukli (Kubra Simsek); great nieces and nephews, Brandon, Ryan, Ashley, Ann Campbell, Audrey, Mac, Henry and Jenna; and many cousins and friends-Willene and Nick Coleman.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Ferris Bradfield, mother, Catherine Nell McCurdy Bradfield, and sister, Gabrielle Rose Judkins.

Peter was born on November 8, 1963, at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. He grew up in New Port Richey, Florida, graduated with a BA in History from the University of South Florida and worked for the Atlanta Library System. He loved his family, music and Star Trek. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of U.S. Presidents, the music of the 1960s, 70s and 80s and the latest candidates running for local elections. He volunteered for many local candidates and met several presidents and other state and national figures. He was passionate about world peace, the environment and politics. He was a bird watcher and loved the outdoors. He charmed all who met him.
