Vanessa and family,

We are so sad to hear about Rod. He took care of us and our HVAC needs like we were family.  He always had a kind word and gentle smile.  Whenever he came by, it was more than a business call it was a time to chat.  We looked forward to hearing about his family and he always asked about ours.  We are keeping you all in our prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about Rod's passing. He has been servicing my units for 20 years. Over that time we have become friends. He has had to deal with a lot of personal issues during that time and did so with dignity and strength.

He will be missed.

The planet lost a good one. No-one other Rod and his boys touched my HVAC units in over 24 years (4 houses). As his sons became more adept at the work, Rod would let them hone their skills as he and I chatted while they did their thing. Indeed, he deeply loved Vanessa. And he loved every member of his family (older and younger) -- he shared their joys and their struggles. He never complained or why-me'd. He met every challenge with grace, acceptance, and in search of a solution if there was one available which could help. He was exceptional at his trade, but even more so as an example of how every human being should live their life -- full of love, pride, and optimism. RIP, Rod. And supportive prayers to those in grief mourning this great loss.

I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your wonderful father. He was an amazing man. He always shared how much he loved all his children. He fixed our HVAC many times. He always got us deals when we didn’t have much money. In Jan 2004 we had twins. Our furnace broke when we brought them home, it was freezing out,  and he came out on Sunday evening to fix it. We tell that story all the time and how wonderful he was to come to our house and help us when he could’ve easily told us to wait until morning. He really was a wonderful caring man. He will be missed. The Mettler’s - family with four boys who all knew him.

I have missed our visits over the last couple of years. We had similar family challenges that provided a special bond. 
Remembering how sometimes you would delegate repairs to the HVAC to Ross while you caught a fish.
You are a special family loving person…we just need more.

As we express our heartfelt sympathy and pray for Rod and his family, we remember him only in the best of ways. My family and I definitely knew Rod not only as an incredibly well respected and talented HVAC specialist, but also as a kind and creative individual. He helped us in 4 of our homes and was always able to creatively problem solve when others were not able to do so. He was a trusted individual who always operated with integrity. He will be so missed as not only the amazing professional that he was, but also for his individual talents and kind demeanor. We are grateful that we knew Rod and all of his top-notch office staff. I am so saddened to hear of Rod's passing.  I always looked forward to seeing him and Ross, when the time came to service my HVAC.  His service and workmanship was above reproach.  He will certainly be missed.  God Bless his family.

Rod was a faithful friend for many years. We knew him back in the days when he and Rick worked in the filling station. He has always been caring, kind, thoughtful and respectful. His work for us when he had his heating and a.c. business, was second to none. He frequently went out of his way to serve. 
Mostly, we loved his relationship with the Lord.
He was quick to give God the glory!

He will be greatly missed.
