Rose Marie Kelly

Rose Marie Kelly of Atlanta, Ga passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at the age of 84. She was born on August, 21 1937 in Covington, Ky where she grew up with her brother Edward Marzano. She moved to Atlanta Georgia where she met and married the love of her life Henry Kruse Kelly in 1962. She maintained to her death that her wedding day was the happiest day of her life.

She was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Business School and worked as a bookkeeper for several companies throughout her career.

As one of the founding members she was actively involved in Holy Cross Catholic Church and involved in her sorority Beta Sigma Phi.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Rose Wasdin, brother, Edward Marzano, spouse Henry K. Kelly, and daughter Kathleen Kelly.

She is survived by her son, Charles Kelly and son-in-law, Charles Weiss

The family would like to thank all of her friends, most notably Mary Ann Fair a dear friend for sixty years, Pat Riley, a devoted friend in Atlanta, Betty Maheras a childhood friend from Kentucky who remained close to this day, and Linda Kouassi, her loving caregiver who became a close friend in the last years of Rose Marie’s life and provided much care and compassion in her final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a mass at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 10 a.m.

Interment to follow at Floral Hills Cemetery at 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, Ga. 30084.
