Sara Eunice Mullins

Sara is survived by her brothers Jack Stephens and his wife Barbara of Winder and Bill Stephens and his wife Jane of Tucker.

She is preceded in death by Leon Mullins, her husband of 65 years and her sister Ann Stephens.

Sara was born on April 7, 1925 in Atlanta, to parents Tirrie and Bessie Stephens. She attended Commercial High School. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She married Leon in 1945 and the couple had two children together. Son Dan Mullins of Newnan, Ga, his wife Paulee and son Don Mullins of Duluth, Ga. Sara also had four grandchildren. Stephanie Blythe, Jack Mullins, Jason Mullins and Brittney Mullins and numerous nephews and nieces

Sara was a long time active member of Briarlake Baptist Church. She and Leon were members of Atlanta Athletic Club, were she was an avid golfer. She collected several competitive trophies and 2 holes-in-one.

Sara will always be remembered as the most loving, caring and gentle person. Always concerned for the comfort of others around her.

The funeral is scheduled for viewing at 2;00PM, funeral at 3:00PM on Sunday, January 21 at Floral Hills Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. Flowers can be sent to Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memory Gardens, 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, Ga 30084.
