You were so professional and nice with down-to-earth advice on great or little or obscure wines and their food pairings. You are gone too soon . Our sympathy to your family.

Silvio - my friend, you will be missed. You will always be the consummate professional gentleman in my mind and heart - and by all who knew you. One of my favorite memories is how before talking shop, Silvio would always asked about my husband and "the baby." He loved his work but knew what was most important.
Lisa - my condolences to you and the Garcia Family.

Rest in Peace Silvio. Love - Beth Nowak

Querido amigo,
The day we met I knew you were a very special person.
It broke my heart to find out about your departure so soon.
I will always remember the times we spent together, either
working or laughing about just anything. My friend, thank you for the memories.
Until we see each other again…

I am so glad to have had Silvio in my life. His smile could light up any room.

For my 1st anniversary, my then husband and I went to the Ritz Carlton for dinner. Silvio had set us up in one those private booths, complete with drawn curtains, champagne and rose petals. I will never forget it.

He touched my life and I am so sad he had to leave this earth so prematurely.

I only worked for a brief period of time with Silvio but he impacted my life greatly. He was such a huge inspiration to me as to how to treat people like human beings and how someone can make those around them feel so special. I cherish the time I spent working near him. God bless.

Ohhh my heart! 😔 what is not to love about a man who will brighten a room just by showing up. His jokes, comments, stories were unique. He made my days at work so much better. As a Spanish speaking myself we were like besties! We could share jokes, memories and just laugh for hours. He changed our (my husband and mine) lives for ever. He always looked after us and we wouldn’t be where we are now if it wasn’t for him. Thank you Silvio!

Silvio was so warm and welcoming to me when I first came to the wine industry. No matter when and where I saw him he always made me feel like the most special person in the room. You had his undivided attention, real eye contact and genuine interest. Whether he was the host of the event or an attendee he was the belle of the ball. Just being with him was a pleasure. My heart aches for Lisa. Silvio , I will miss you.
