It is with great sadness that the family of Sue Carol Bowden (78) of Dunwoody, Georgia announces her passing on April 12, 2019. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Sue Carol was born on December 4, 1940 in Fresno, California to Roy and Bernise Ratliff. She grew up in Marysville / Yuba City, CA before moving to Mitchell, IA and then Austin, MN. In 1979, she moved to Atlanta, GA and 10 years later lived a couple of years in San Francisco before moving back to Atlanta where she resided until her passing. She is survived by her sister, Patricia Smith; her children daughter, Kellie Parker (Bill) and her son, Chris Pajer (Carol). She was a loving Granny to 4 grandchildren, Brent, Hunter, Jacob and Olivia and great- grandson, Waylon. She is preceded in death by her late husband Rod Bowden, son Dennis Mitchell, sister Joyce McGee, brother James Ratliff and parents Bernice and Roy Ratliff. A Visitation and Memorial Service will be held for Sue Carol on April 24, 2019 with the visitation from 3:00-4:30 and a Memorial Chapel Service beginning at 4:30 in the funeral home chapel. The address is 3150 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084. She will be laid to rest with her family at Sierra View Memorial Park Cemetery – 4900 Olive Avenue, Olivehurst, CA 95961.
