

Thomas E. DeLoach, 69 of Decatur, GA passed away June 22, 2011 at his home after a long illness. He was born in Brunswick, GA, the son of the late Arthur Arlington DeLoach, Sr., and Mildred Mills DeLoach.
He graduated from Glynn Academy and then trained as a nurse in Florida. He worked at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL and was drawn to private duty care of the elderly. This passion resulted in his establishing Evie Mills Personal Care Home in McDonough, GA named for his maternal grandmother.
He is survived by his wife, Gail M. DeLoach; brother Arthur Arlington DeLoach, Jr. and his wife Claudia of Sandy Springs, GA; aunt, Imogene Doss of Savannah, GA; his cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He loved visiting with family and friends, reading, classical music, searching for collectibles, and trips to the beach.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Kenny Upthegrove officiating.
