She received Christ at an early age under the leadership of her parents. She worked as an Insurance Agent, and Postal Clerk for the Emory University Post Office. She also worked at the Adult Guidance Center.
Vivian loved talking, playing cards, traveling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
She received her elementary training at Scott Elementary School and secondary education from Northside High School in Atlanta, Georgia. There she played soccer, basketball, track and was a cheerleader.
She received a BS degree in Physical Education from Fort Valley State College in 1975. While at Fort Valley State College, she pledged Gamma Sigma Sigma Sorority and served tirelessly in the Fort Valley, Georgia community.
Vivian leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Shundriss Troutman (Milton White), son Lamar Troutman, grandsons Ja'len Terrell, and Jerome Terrell II, and brother Gene Young. She was preceded in death by her brother Lewis Young, sisters, Edna Young and Patricia Young.
