He was born in East Point, GA the son of the late Walter R. and Willie Hughey McKibben.
He was a buyer for Rich's and served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Mr. McKibben was a member of Clairmont Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine McWhorter McKibben.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Donna (Charles) Broome of Grayson, Diane (Charles) Morris of Hoschton, Debbie McKibben of Lawrenceville, and Denise (Jeff) Bowers of Tucker; his son and daughter-in-law, Rod (Susan) McKibben of Lawrenceville; his grandchildren,
Stephanie, Scott, Brian, Kristi, Kevin, Matthew, Michael, Kathryn, and Susan; his great grandchildren, Kyle, Tyler, Kendall, Oliver, and Esme.
Funeral services will be held on Tues. January 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Floral Hills Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
