Willie Paul Wynn

Mr. Willie Paul Wynn, known as “Paul” was born September 25, 1931 in Walton County, Georgia to the late Calvin Wynn and Irene Holt Wynn. Paul was one of seven children; five of his siblings preceded him. After a lingering illness Paul’s health failed him on October 22, 2011.

Paul was married to Katie Durden Wynn on October 3, 1953 for fifty-nine wonderful years, his best friend and love of his life.

Paul served in the Army for a few years where he had extensive training.

Paul joined The Greater Piney Grove Baptist Church with his lovely wife on May 9, 2006.

Paul had a passion for hunting, fishing, cooking, and spending time with his wife. He and his wife decided to move back to Georgia from California after he retired in 1989 as a Master Auto Mechanic. He loved traveling the highways in their RV cruising through the country sites from one state to another. He enjoyed gardening, growing his own vegetables and fruit in which he labored.

Paul leaves to cherish his memories his lovely wife Katie Durden Wynn. One sister Henry and Lucy Mae Clark, Covington, Georgia; Three aunts, Helen Cosbley, Atlanta, Georgia, Vesa Mae Ford, Conyers, Georgia, and Dorothy Durden; Five sister in-laws, Della Mae Clayton, Christine Jefferies, Earlene Durden, Odessa Durden, and Barbara Gene Wynn, Oxford, Georgia; One brother in-law, Alton Durden, Fullenton, California; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
