Aggie Saucedo was a loving, compassionate daughter; mom; tia; nina; nana; and, to most, their elementary lunch lady. She went home to join her beloved husband John P. Saucedo and daughters Rosemary and Sheila (Mike). She was survived by her sons, Julian (Kimberly) and Joe John (Tina), leaving behind 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Aggie always had an open door and allowed those in need to stay awhile. She would always be prepared to give a hot meal and have an open seat. She was no stranger to hard work; at times, she had 3 jobs to make ends meet due to the unexpected loss of her dear husband. Aggie was a proud member of the League of Mexican American Women where she was the recording secretary.
In her free time, she loved to dance and enjoyed mariachi music; she had a list of her favorites that she’d request. She loved to dance with friends, especially her handsome grandsons- as she would say. When she wasn’t dancing, her love of music was translated into her passion for playing piano, which she had taught herself. She could hear pieces of a song and recreate it on the piano.
Later in life, she loved to watch her novelas; some of the greatest moments were spent sitting next to her and catching up with her on the latest scandal and who was doing what. She believed hard times only made you stronger and that through Christ all things were possible. She was a kind, strong, loving woman who lived life everyday like it was her last. Although she had a long beautiful life, she was taken too soon and will be waiting at heaven’s door to greet her loved ones.
