Born on November 18, 1965, in Tucson, Arizona, Albert was a deeply cherished father, tata, uncle, cousin, brother, and friend.
Albert worked for TUSD as a bus driver since 1989. His strong work ethic and dedication were truly exceptional. He had a calling, keeping kids safe while getting them to school was always his priority; he took great pride in his work. For the past seven years, he also donated monthly to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, keeping a photo of each child he supported.
He had a larger than life personality. He was involved in so many organizations. He was apart of the Knights of Columbus and took pride in the brotherhood. He was the family treasurer. He was a respected and trustworthy man. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
Those who knew Albert will remember him for his infectious smile and overwhelming laughter, his deep-rooted love for hunting, camping, the Rams and his unwavering commitment to helping everyone he encountered.
Hunting with his brothers and cousins were some of his fondest memories. Stories around the campfire will never be the same. When it came to camping on the family property in Harshaw or opening up the cabin in the White Mountains, he took great pride in taking care of the land. He was always finding ways to make it better so that future generations could enjoy it as much as he did.
He welcomed many into his home, shared with his significant other Bobbie, with an ice cold beer and a shoulder to lean on if they needed it.
If you didn't catch him piddling around in the yard, where the work never ended. You'd find him in his favorite recliner, watching his Rams play football, M.A.S.H, or The Andy Griffith show. This was the only time you would see him in one place because he was always up to something. Rarely sitting still. That was him.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Albert is survived by his devoted partner, Bobbie Moreno, along with his siblings: Ray (Carol), Ruben (Becky), Fred (Corina), and Ginny. He also leaves behind his cherished children: Veronica (Chris), Ramon, Manny (Gina), Priscilla (Isidro), Breann (Chris Jr.), and Katrina, as well as his beloved grandchildren: Jacob, Belleza, Manny, Reyna, Estevan, Lexianna, Adrian, Leonard, Chris III, Joaquin, Marisol, Austin, Yazmeen, Ayla, and Azariah.
Although Albert's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us. May his memory be a blessing, and may we carry forth his legacy of love and compassion in all that we do.
