Alberto Altamirano Tapia

Alberto Altamirano Tapia 86 of Tucson, died peacefully on April 12, 2025 with his loving wife and caregiver Mercedes by his side. He is survived by Daughter Frances Tapia, Son Martin Tapia, Step Daughter Lisa Moreno. 7 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.

We as a family are suffering the loss of an influential man to our lives, a husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. He truly was a wonderful human being with a great amount of love and kindness in his heart. He was the driving force for many of us. The amount of compassion and empathy he exuded is beyond compare and those who knew this valued and cherished his spirit and his gentle nature. Always smiling, laughing, never showing an ounce of anger and being outdoors with his animals was his passion. Celebrating everyone's successes no matter how big or small. His kind heart was always the torch leading the way for all of us and we knew we had someone special in our lives, loving unconditionally and always there to rely on. He was our teacher and our guide to this wonderful life and beautiful simplicities it holds. We valued the time we had with him and are more than blessed to have been able to love him and have him apart of our family.

Graveside service will take place May 5, 2025 at 11:30am at south lawn cemetery.
