Alfred M. Leon 7/24/1934 - 7/20/2014 79, of Tucson, AZ passed away on Sunday. He has joined his parents, Ricardo and Rosa Leon; brother, Chapo; sisters, Panky and Fidelia and granddaughter, Elizabeth "Pudgy" in Heaven. He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Rose F. Leon; his brother, Tony; his sister, Marta; daughters, Diana (Tony) and Vanessa; son, Dennis; grandson, T.J (Erica); granddaughters, Yvette "Angel", Lynette "Sweetie" (Juan), Jessica "Kitty" and Serenity "Joy". He was loved dearly by his four great-grandkids, Gabriel, Isabel, Deric, Liam Jonathan and his nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins, and friends. Alfred is a Veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation. Most importantly he was the heart and soul of his family. Never missed an opportunity to come out and show his support at every game, concert, performance or graduation. He was not only a coach on the field but he coached us all through life, and every amazing conversation will be held onto and saved in our hearts. Memorial Service will be held Friday, July 25, 2014, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at FUNERARIA DEL ANGEL SOUTH LAWN, 5401 S. Park Ave.
