Alice Jean Alexander, age 77, a resident of Tucson, Arizona, passed away on August 12, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Alice was born on June 20, 1949, in Bisbee, Arizona. She graduated from Sunnyside High School and received her high school diploma. Alice’s career was devoted to serving others as a caregiver, a role that reflected the steady kindness and generosity she carried into everyday life.

Alice is survived by her brother Richard Moreno; her son Arthur Alexander Jr. (Kristie); her daughter Karen Callaway (Brian); her son Tyge Alexander; her daughter Mandashea Phillips (Jason); her grandsons Justin (Sierra), Chance and Tate Alexander Silas, Tommy, Sam, Seth Callaway; her granddaughter Kayli Phillips; her great granddaughter Layla Alexander; and her stepfather Mike (Liz) Juvera. She was married to Arthur Alexander, from which she divorced.

Throughout her life, Alice was known for a steady and abiding faith, a generous spirit, and a warmth that made others feel welcome. Her kindness was not reserved for special occasions; it showed itself in everyday moments, in the way she gravitated toward people and formed connections wherever she went. She had a gift for friendship that reached across all settings—even among hospital staff—reflecting a sincere regard for others and a heart inclined to give.

Alice’s love for her family was central to who she was, and her devotion to them was matched by a bright, hopeful outlook. Social by nature and consistently positive, she carried herself with an ease that drew people in. She also delighted in the small details that made her feel like herself, including her beloved fake eyelashes—an unmistakable touch of personal style that those who knew her will remember with affection.

A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn, 5401 South Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, on September 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. A Graveside Service will follow at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706, on September 5, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm.
