Nana, I wish I would've told you how much you mean to me. I wish I would've paid attention when you made tortillas, beans, caldo de queso, calabacitas....I loved hearing about your younger years. I loved the way you walked into a room, and I really miss your laugh.

I'm so sad to hear about this so late. I wish I could been there for you guys. But I do know this...the first year will probably be the hardest for the family, but you guys will eventually appreciate the fact that God gave her to you guys for a long 83 years! That's amazing!

She has given you guys a lot of wonderful memories and her love was so big for all of you. You guys are so blessed to have a family like yours, and thank her for what she has created for you and your families.
You guys have something that not a lot of families have. You guys are so tight, and I'm sure it all has to do with Nana.
I'm blessed to have had her apart of my life throughout high school. My best and favorite memories are with your family. And I thank her for that!

Judy and I were reminiscing last night about our high school days at Nana's. My gosh, there are so many! We laughed so much. All the good food she and Candy's mom used to make for us and half of the students at Sunnyside after school! I can go on and on. She was wonderful!
Be there for each other, and keep her memory alive. I love you guys!
