Alma Helen Hirsch

Alma Helen Hirsch (1936-2025), 89, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in her hometown of Tucson, Arizona. Alma was born on September 23, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois, to Werner and Lenore Kramer. She graduated from High School in 1954 and worked in downtown Chicago. Alma was the youngest of five children and met her husband, Robert, through her brother. Werner. In 1958, Alma married Robert Hirsch (Bob), and they had three children, Sandra, Robert, and Sharon. Alma was a devoted

wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time with her family. Her faith in God carried her through a courageous twenty-year battle with ovarian cancer.

She is survived by her children, Sandy Chance (Larry) of Gilbert, AZ, Robert Hirsch (Becky) of Tucson, AZ, and Sharon Wayne (William) of Norman, OK ; grandchildren, Kayla Hay (Matt) of Mesa, AZ, Kris Kaay (Becca) of Gilbert, AZ, Ryan Wayne of Norman, OK, Jordan Wayne of Norman, OK, Andee Gower (Alex) Oklahoma City, OK, Robert Hirsch of Tucson, AZ, Tori Hirsch of Washington, D.C., Jeni Jones (Trevor) of The Colony, TX, Peyton Chance of Gilbert, AZ, Parker Chance Gilbert, AZ; and great-grandchildren, Emery Hay, Maverick Hay, Trevor Hay, Kaden Hay, Ryan Hay, Lucy Gower, Zoey Kaay, August Kaay, and Margot Gower, her brother Werner Kramer (Lois) of Tucson, AZ, her sister Barbara Tatman of Tucson, AZ., and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hirsch, her parents, and two sisters, Delores and Arlene.
