Ana Maria Rivera, age 84, of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, among her loving family. Ana was born January 19, 1940 in San Juan Del Rio, Sonora, Mexico to Esteban Noriega and Eduvigues Velasquez Noriega, both of whom preceded their daughter in passing.
Ana grew up in Mexico before moving to Arizona as a young woman. Ana was married to the love of her life Arturo Rivera (born November 9, 1942) on December 26, 1966, and they remained devoted to each other until his passing in November on 1992. During their marriage, Ana devoted her time to being a homemaker, raising and nurturing their three children Josephine Cervantes, Graciela Rivera, and Arturo Rivera, all of whom survive their mother and father. Ana is further survived by many grandchildren, and extended family.
Ana’s memory will be cherished in the hearts of her devoted family, and all those who had the honor to know her.
A graveside service for Ana will be held Tuesday, August 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at South Lawn Cemetery, 5401 S Park Ave, Tucson, AZ 85706.
