Elizabeth and Family,  we have only just learned of Andy’s passing.  We are so sad and sorry for your loss.  The Baxter Family will forever have special memories of Andy through Oro Valley Softball.  Lucy loved having Andy as one of her Softball Coaches and I remember one time her wanting to go shopping to get Andy some Andes Mints for his Birthday.  We hope that you continue to remember all the fond memories you have of your wonderful Husband and Dad.  RIP Andy, you will be truly missed.  Big hugs and love from us all in New Zealand. Sad news to hear this . My thoughts and well wishes for his family.  I remember the younger days growing up in Oracle,  Andy always had a way of making people smile and laugh.  He was one of the good ones.

Such terrible news, thoughts and prayers for Andy's family. Every memory of Andy is a fond memory. Growing up in Oràcle and getting into trouble in various ways. Always a smile, a joke and Andy made everything lighter, more pleasant and funnier. Last ran into him a.couple years ago in Oro Valley Home Depot where we caught up. God bless

So heavy to learn this . I have great memories with Andy growing up in Oracle. From racing our trucks in San Manuel to just his great personality.  I enjoyed seeing him at our Oracle reunion a few years ago .  He will be missed. My condolences to all the family. 

Elizabeth, we are so so sorry about this. We have so many wonderful memories of your family from our days on the softball field. Andy was funny and kind and always had a great story to share. We are so grateful that he gave his time so generously to our softball girls and we just want you to know how much that meant to all of us.

Andy Martinez was always one of my favorites! Just hearing his name made me smile.  May you find peace and strength knowing how many people his life made better. I remember getting together at my cousin's house in Safford when we were kids and Andy and Toby came as well. We had a blast, at night we played hide and seek in the dark both inside and out and we almost tore the place down before we were done. 
Andy my man, rest in peace you will be missed.

My cousin as well as a brother we shared many laughs together we shared tears as well. Our life grew to a bond that we only knew and no one can take that away from us. So many good times with all our friends and family growing up in a small town. The memories will always be cherished. As we said on the phone each time we hung up. " I love you brother."

What a great guy and good friend. Grew up together one street away  from each other. Known him from before first grade all the way through High School.
Often times, to this day, lots of songs come on the radio that remind me of Andy. Especially when a ZZ Top song comes on the radio.

Andy left a big mark on my life growing up in Oracle Arizona.  I always remembered his birthday because it was exactly 10 days before mine.  It always seems like important things happen on Andy Martinez's birthday - my wife and I got engage on Andy Martinez's birthday, even the official opening day of our pool every year is on Andy Martinez's birthday.  Even though I lost contact with him many years ago, he'll always be part of my life.  Thank you Gabe Flores for letting me know about his passing.  It's a sad day of us Oracle people.  Praying for his mother.
