

Anjalyn Suzanne Lovendahl, 25 of Tucson Arizona passed away January 6th 2014 from a tragic motor vehicle accident. She was born in Tucson Arizona on 1/13/1988. She attended Sahuaro High School and after working in the medical field for several years, she chose to re-direct her career and happily accepted a position as a leasing agent at Hilands Apartments.
Her health care experiences at both Flagstaff Medical Center and UMC ignited her passion in caring for those who could not care for themselves. She was deeply compassionate for all life, and had a great love for animals.
A few short years ago Anjalyn was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and embraced the experience by learning to support her own health and truly believed with enough hope, faith, and compassion, MS could be cured. She actively participated in multiple MS fundraisers such as, WALK MS at Reid Park in Tucson Arizona and independently raised hundreds of dollars through her co-workers at Flagstaff Medical Center and friends and family.
She is survived by her parents, Dale Lovendahl ,Tucson, Mary Ann Lovendahl, Flagstaff, two brothers and sisters-in laws; Brandon Lovendahl, wife Sarah and Tyler Lovendahl wife Jane Tucson, her 5 nephews; Kyle, Jeremy, Jacob, Colin, David along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition, her 91 year old grandmother, Joy Samson of Arizona and the love of her life Jacob Steimer.
If you wish to contribute monetarily in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at any Wells Fargo Bank Branch under “Anjalyn Suzanne Lovendahl Memorial Fund”. Funds in excess of the family’s needs, will be donated directly to the National MS Society.
A viewing will be held at East Lawn Palms Mortuary & Cemetery at 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson AZ 85712 from 5-9 PM on Wednesday January 15th 2014. The funeral service will be held on Thursday January 16th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 700 North Bonanza Ave, Tucson AZ at 12pm followed by interment at the East Lawn Palms Cemetery. A celebration of Anjalyn’s life will follow at the Moose Lodge, 2442 South Harrison Road, Tucson, AZ (northwest corner of Harrison & Golflinks) where you can personally share your stories and love of Anjalyn surrounded by friends and family. Food and refreshments will be provided.
