Born on December 24th, 1972 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Ann was the beloved daughter of Frank and Nancy Watson. She grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico as well as Indio, California. She carried throughout her life a deep love for her family, her faith, and serving others. She devoted much of her professional life to helping build the family HVAC business, Watson Refrigeration Company, working alongside her parents, siblings, son, and nephew.
She married the love of her life, Samuel Alvarado, on October 17th 2014. Together they built a beautiful life over almost 12 years of marriage (22 years of loving each other), loving 6 children between them and creating a home filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion.
She is survived by her loving husband, Samuel Alvarado; her children, Camille Gagnon (Charles), Andrew Bolin (Jayanna) as well as her stepchildren, Talisa Alvarado, George Alvarado (Brandi), Alex Alvarado (Kayla) and Samuel Smith (Nick Qualman); her cherished grandchildren, Eli, Kathryn, Alicia, Silas, Frankie and Monica Gagnon, Peter, Julie and James Bolin, George Jr, Samuel, and Gabriel Alvarado, Lydia Cotton, Logan, Greyson, Cora and Selene Alvarado; her siblings, Paul, Mike, John and Marie Watson; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who were blessed by her warmth and grace.
Ann Alvarado will be remembered for her passionate heart, selfless spirit, quiet strength, and powerful Catholic faith. She found great joy in caring for her family, preparing meals, celebrating holidays together, and making everyone who entered her home feel welcomed and loved. She had a gift for making ordinary moments feel special and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, resilience, and steadfast love.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, hospice team, and all who cared for her throughout her illness, as well as everyone who offered prayers, meals, messages, and support.
She taught us to rest in God. Always look to God. To have childlike faith and nurture our curiosity in all things good. Though our hearts are broken, we rejoice in the hope that she is now at peace in the presence of the Lord she loved so deeply. Until we meet again, we will carry her love with us every day.
A Solemn Requiem Mass will be offered in her memory on Monday, September 28th 2026 starting at 10am with the rosary. In accordance with her wishes, guests are kindly asked to wear modest black mourning attire.
The Mass will be followed by interment at South Lawn cemetery.
