88, of Tucson/Willcox, went home to be with the LORD and her beloved husband and family on February 3rd. Ann was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and moved to Tucson when she was 15 years old. She attended Tucson High School and graduated in 1947. Her father started Columbia Street Baptist church and she became the pianist for the church at age 16. She continued playing the piano for another 30 years at her churches. She was a founding member of First Southern Baptist Church in Willcox. Even after she moved back to Tucson, following her husband’s untimely death, she still considered Willcox her home.
Ann was the last surviving sibling of seven. Her husband of 31 years, Stuart Willoughby Sr., preceded her in death. She is survived by her five children, Stuart Jr. (Maggie), Martha (Bobby), Stephen (Judy), Linda, and Scott (Ana) and eight Grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her very much. Ann’s life’s work was being a great homemaker and mother, her family was her world, she will be greatly missed. In her last years she became very interested in conservative politics and enjoyed promoting constructive causes.
Visitation will be at East Lawn Chapel, 5801 E. Grant Rd. Wednesday, February 8th, 1:30 to 2:00. Funeral Service, 2:00 and burial to follow.
